When you put your hands on a Romina piece you immediately understand why it costs what it costs. The weight alone tells the whole story. There is nothing hollow, nothing flimsy, nothing that makes you wince. One of my favorite things to do when showing-off a Romina set is to pull out a drawer (which is so easy to do, by the way), turn it upside down, and hop right up on top of it. My brother is over 250+ pounds and he can do it, too! There really just is not furniture this durable out there. Let alone this jaw-droppingly beautiful. Oh and the finish options? I've never seen anything like it in the nursery world... you can go full rustic distressed, soft antique white, deep rich brown, or even a gorgeous antique silver. It genuinely feels and looks like furniture a designer would put in a grown-up bedroom, not just a nursery. If you have a very particular vision for the nursery and aren’t finding any other crib that offers the right color or style that you want, I am willing to bet that Romina has exactly what you want. I may also be a little biased here but I get along very well with the owner of the company and even helped him name one of their newer finishes. He is always telling people how his furniture truly is the sort of furniture that you could pass down for GENERATIONS. It’s the sort of quality our parents grew up with but that has seem to have faded over the years, and it’s furniture that your first born may be able to pass down to their own children one day because it will without a doubt withstand the test of time. The ownership and customer service alone throughout Romina Furniture makes it worth all the money in the world because they truly care about their customers and go to great lengths to make sure you feel good about investment.

Romina is a premium investment (for an extremelyyyyy good reason though) but that means this is not exactly the most budget-friendly and I'd never pretend it is. You're also looking at longer lead times since pieces are made to order in Europe, so if you're eyeing Romina, don't wait until your third trimester to order. Plan ahead! Although I  must admit… I personally am very much impressed with the fact that a custom piece of furniture, from start to finish on another continent has the ability to get to us within a few months. However, unless you have already seen this in-person and know exactly what you are looking for, because the finish options are so extensive and unique, I genuinely recommend chatting with me directly before you order... because picking a finish from a screen is really hard with this brand considering everyone’s screens and hues are different from one device to another. We can at least arrange a Zoom or FaceTime appointment so that I can show you all of the wood samples “in real life”.
