Collection: Silva

(similar quality as Romina but easier on the wallet)

Silva Furniture was born in 1991 in Transylvania, Romania (yes, really, lol) and has been perfecting the art of solid wood nursery furniture for over three decades across three generations of the same family. Here's the part most people don't know: Silva and Romina come from the same family of manufacturers, built in the same European facility, with the same commitment to solid beech wood construction, the same German-engineered soft-closing drawer systems guaranteed for 70 years, and the same zero-tolerance policy for VOCs, formaldehyde, and anything else you can't pronounce.

The difference? Silva intentionally keeps its finish options streamlined... just five carefully curated choices... and focuses on a tighter core collection of pieces. That's exactly how they're able to deliver that same European-made, heirloom-quality craftsmanship at a significantly more accessible price point. Every piece is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, every drawer is dovetail-jointed with non-toxic glues, and every crib converts from newborn all the way to a full-size bed. Same factory. Same values. Smarter price.

rae rae's honest take

what i love

I genuinely think Silva is one of the best kept secrets in the nursery world and I love putting people onto it. When a customer comes in with Romina taste and a slightly more grounded budget, Silva is the first thing I point them to... because I'm not going to recommend something just because it's cheaper. I recommend Silva because it's legitimately excellent. The construction is identical, the wood is the same, the hardware is the same. The collections... Edison, Jackson, Serena... are all beautiful in their own right and have that same quiet European elegance. And honestly? Sometimes having fewer choices is a relief. You pick your finish, you pick your pieces, done.

what to know going in

If you're someone who really wants to customize every detail of your nursery down to 20+ specific finish options... Silva might feel a little limiting, in comparison to it's fancy big sis Romina. It's not the brand for the person who needs to match an exact shade of antique white. But if you want breathtaking quality, a beautiful classic aesthetic, and you'd rather put those savings toward the rest of your nursery? Silva is your answer every single time.
