We show up, build everything, place it exactly where you want it, and haul away every last piece of packaging. No tools, no stress, no YouTube tutorials required. All you have to do is point and tell us where you want it.


LOCAL DELIVERY OPTIONS

(Customers in the Tri-State Area including greater NYC, all of NJ, and some of CT & PA - all other homes within a 125-mile radius of Rahway, NJ)

Our professionally trained delivery team will bring your furniture directly into your home, unpack and inspect every piece, assemble everything in the room of your choice, and remove all packaging and debris. No boxes left behind, no assembly stress, no mess.

On orders of $2,499 or more (after all discounts and promotional offers have been applied) ... this service is on us. Completely FREE.


DELIVERY SURCHARGES

Additional fees may apply in the following situations... please give us a heads up in advance if any of these apply to your delivery:

  • Deliveries to New York City (5 Boroughs) = $99
  • Deliveries above the second floor without an elevator = $10 per piece, per floor
  • Deliveries delayed by military checkpoints or service elevators = $15 every 15 minutes

Because the furniture we carry is a higher caliber than what you'll find at most online retailers, we made a deliberate decision a long time ago to not offer standard curbside shipping... and honestly, we don't think anyone selling furniture like this should.

After 35+ years in this business, we have tried just about everything. And here's what we've learned the hard way... even with the most reliable freight carriers, damage on large and heavy furniture is almost inevitable when it's shipped the traditional way. A dresser traveling across the country in a box on a freight truck is not the same as a dresser being hand-delivered and placed carefully in your home by people who actually care how it arrives.

Your furniture is too beautiful, too well-made and too important to be dropped at the end of your driveway by a freight truck... whether you're home or not, and whether it's pouring rain outside or not.

So instead of shipping, we offer something better.

While our roots are in New Jersey and the tri-state area is our home base, we know that a gorgeous nursery vision doesn't care what zip code you live in. If you're located outside of our local delivery zone we don't want that to be the end of the conversation... we just want to have a real one first.

Nationwide white glove delivery and assembly may be available depending on your location, and pricing is determined on a case-by-case basis. Before you assume we can't get to you... reach out! We've made it work in more places than you'd think, and we will always be completely upfront with you about what's possible, what it costs and whether it makes sense for your specific order.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

Every product on our site has a different estimated lead time... meaning the average length of time it takes for an order to be processed, produced, shipped from the factory to our warehouse, and then delivered to your home. Lead times vary depending on the item. Some products ship quickly from existing warehouse stock, while others... such as custom or made-to-order pieces... may require 10 to 12 weeks or more.

When in doubt, reach out before you order and we'll give you a real, honest timeline. We know you have a due date and we take that seriously.


SCHEDULING YOUR DELIVERY

Once your furniture has arrived at our distribution center and your balance has been satisfied, our dispatcher will contact you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule a weekday delivery appointment with a 4-hour arrival window.

Deliveries must be scheduled within 14 days of being notified. Furniture held beyond 14 days without communication will be subject to a $5 per piece, per day storage fee. If you need a little extra time, just reach out and let us know in advance... we are always happy to work with you!


DAY OF DELIVERY

A few things to know before your delivery day...

  • Deliveries may be postponed due to severe weather. A new appointment will be scheduled right away.
  • All pets must be restrained when our delivery crew arrives.
  • Delivery personnel are not permitted to remove their shoes for safety and insurance purposes.
  • Our crew does not rearrange existing furniture. Please clear the room and make space for your new pieces before your delivery appointment.
  • If a scheduled delivery is attempted and confirmation calls go unanswered, additional fees may apply.
  • Deliveries delayed by ferries, doormen, freight elevators or military checkpoints are subject to additional charges.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR FURNITURE ARRIVES DAMAGED

(Please save all boxes and packaging material!)

While we take every precaution to make sure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, occasionally damage can happen in transit. If you notice damage upon delivery... please do not refuse the delivery. Simply note it on your delivery receipt and call our customer service line immediately at 732-425-3172

If there was no visible damage to the outer cartons at delivery but you discover something after opening... please hold onto all of your original boxes and packaging material and contact us right away. We stand behind every product we carry and maintain close relationships with all of our manufacturers so we can make sure you are always taken care of.

Please note that refusing a delivery is not permitted and will fall under our return policy, with inbound freight and home delivery costs incurred by the customer.


CHANGING OR CANCELING AN ORDER

If you need to change an item on your order or update your delivery address, please call us immediately at 732-425-3172. We cannot modify orders once they have been sent to the factory, so the sooner you reach us the better!

Online and phone orders are non-cancellable once an order confirmation has been sent. Orders may only be amended for accuracy within 24 hours of receiving your confirmation. Cancellations and refunds will only be issued if a promised delivery date is not met, in accordance with New Jersey state law.


RETURNS

We are proud to offer one of the best return policies in the business. Online purchases made through our website's shopping cart may be returned for any reason within 30 days of receipt for an exchange, store credit, or a full refund of the purchase price, excluding inbound freight and delivery costs.

A few important things to keep in mind...

  • Returns are only valid on online shopping cart purchases. Sales made in our physical showroom or over the phone are not eligible for return through this policy.
  • All returned products must be in factory-new condition in their original cartons with all original packaging materials intact.
  • Products that have already been assembled, were special ordered specifically for you, or were damaged by the consumer cannot be returned.
  • Mattresses and bedding products cannot be returned per New Jersey state law.
  • If your order included free delivery as part of a promotion, actual inbound freight and delivery costs will still be deducted from your return refund.

To initiate a return: Call 732-425-3172 and provide your original sales order number, the item(s) you are returning, and your name. We will issue you an RMA number and a return address. Items must be returned at the customer's expense using our preferred shipping method. Please save your return tracking number and insure the package in case of any damage during transit.


SALES TAX

One of the perks of shopping with New Jersey Cribs is that we do not charge or collect sales tax for customers residing outside of New Jersey... with one exception: orders must be delivered using our delivery service. Orders delivered within the State of New Jersey and all in-store pickups at our Rahway, NJ warehouse are subject to a 6.625% sales tax.

Please note that New Jersey Cribs is not responsible for individual states' sales tax reporting requirements pertaining to online purchases. We encourage you to review your state's regulations before placing your order.


HOW TO CHECK YOUR ORDER STATUS

To request an update on your order, please use the order status link located at the bottom of every page on our site. You will need your order confirmation number and a reply email address. We will contact the manufacturer and/or freight carrier on your behalf and respond to your inquiry within 24 hours.
