Stella Baby was created by Westwood Design (another amazing brand that we also carry) and is a family-owned and operated company with over 40 years in the nursery furniture industry. AND they are an exclusive line for specialty retailers (like us)!  You can’t and won't find Stella Baby at a big box store and just like with Monogram, that's completely intentional. This collection exists because specialty store customers deserve access to furniture that's a step above what's mass-produced for the general market.

Every Stella Baby piece is built from solid wood with quality veneers, secured with steel inserts, English dovetail joints, and corner blocks for maximum structural integrity. The designs range from sophisticated traditional with soaring crown moldings and turned spindles, to transitional and more contemporary silhouettes... all executed with a level of detail and craftsmanship that you genuinely feel when you touch the furniture. Stella Baby finishes are tested for lead content, phthalates, and other harmful chemicals, and every production run is additionally tested by independent quality control experts. Safety is not an afterthought here... it's built into every step of the process.

The exclusivity is earned and the quality backs it up completely. These pieces feel genuinely special... beautifully detailed, solidly constructed, and designed with a sophistication that works beautifully in both traditional and transitional nurseries. The Athena collection with the crown moldings and turned spindles is one of the most elegant pieces we carry. (And the fact that their conversion kit turns the crib into a PLATFORM BED makes it even more beautiful for all the years to come). Also... knowing that this is something customers can only find through specialty stores like us makes it feel like a real discovery. It's not just furniture... it's a statement. (And I can't forget to mention that their price points are so reasonable that I often times think I have made a type-o whenever I am reviewing the pricing on this site).

what to know going in

Stella Baby leans traditional to transitional in its design language, so if you're going very modern or minimalist this might not click. But if you want sophisticated, specialty-store-exclusive furniture with 40+ years of craftsmanship behind it... Stella Baby is one of the best! And in the spirit of honesty... the Remi Collection is quite literally our #1 selling group, and has been in my family's store for over 10 straight years. So even though some of their collections lean more traditional, designs like that of the Remi prove that they aren't afraid to think outside of the box and for that I love them!
